Operative WPs:

WP1       Sustainable Substitution of Critical Raw Materials in Photodevices (Coordinator University of Burgos - Santiago Cuesta-Lopez):

APPLICATION FIELD: optoelectronic, LEDs, LCDs, and Plasma Screens; Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs (CFL).

REDUCTION OBJECTIVE: Substitute Rare earth elements: Heavy (Yttrium) and light (Cerium) rare earth elements.

TECHNOLOGY: Innovate alternative materials and/or processing maintaining the same performance of the actual devices in terms of lightening and resistance. Easy implementation in the actual production process.

 

WP2       Substitution of Indium in Transparent Conductive Layers (Coordinator ENEA - Maria Luisa Grilli)

APPLICATION FIELD: Panel display industry, photovoltaic, Transparent Conductive Oxide (TCO) Films for Organic Light Emissive Devices (OLEDs).

REDUCTION OBJECTIVE: Substitute critical scarce materials (Indium)

TECHNOLOGY: Innovate alternative materials to overcome the use of Indium tin oxide (ITO) and the development of new transparent and flexible conductive panels.

 

WP3       Substitution/Reduction of Critical Raw Materials in Magnetic Devices (Coordinator University Castilla-La Mancha-  Jose De Toro)

APPLICATION FIELD: Motors, Automotive, Wind turbines, Permanent Magnets

REDUCTION OBJECTIVE: Substitute critical scarce materials (RAre earths, Neodymium)

TECHNOLOGY: Innovate alternative materials to overcome the use of Critical Raw Materials.
